1. If you are not currently living in the house that you are selling, a great way to let only trusted people into your property, is to have a lockbox on the front door with the key inside. Only those who call you & receive the lockbox code can enter your home.
2. When you are looking to spruce up a property, remember that remodeling is a great tool. You can buy a property for a low price, remodel it, and then flip it for a higher value.
3. Before any remodeling or renovations can be done, research all of the proper permits that need to be acquired before any construction can begin.
4. When you are looking to remodel your home, research the construction companies you are looking to hire. You want to make sure you are getting the best price for your project, and that the company you choose is reputable.
5. Make sure that when you start to remodel you home, you set a budget and stick to it. Hidden costs and fees may occur.
6. A great way to save some money is to try to do small renovations by yourself. If you want to try to put new tile in your bathroom, or paint a room, make sure you have all the appropriate tools, and know how to do the project correctly.
